David Bowie turned 66 today and has marked his birthday with a new single and album release. The new single titled "Where are we now?" has been released on iTunes today with a follow-up album called "The Next Day" set for release in March.
The announcement breaks years of silence from Bowie, who has rarely made public appearances since his last live performance in 2006, sparking rumors of ill-health.
