Beyonce took a political stance with her mother Tina Knowles and designed a t-shirt for President Obama's political reelection campaign. The white crew neck t-shirt features quotes like, "Yes We Can" and "Words do inspire," and will sell for retail at $45 per shirt beginning on Feb. 7th.
Beyonce previously made a custom-designed t-shirt for Michelle Obama's "Let's Move" campaign to help children make healthier decisions in diet and exercise.
Other celebrities and high-profile acolytes have gave a helping hand to the President in his campaign, like Russell Simmons, fashion designer Vera Wang, P. Diddy and high fashion priestess Editor-in-Chief of Vogue Anna Wintour, who developed the "Runway to Win" foundation for which proceeds go to the campaign.
President Obama reportedly has more than a football team's worth of celebrity endorsements for his reelection campaign, including the Black Eyed Peas, Jessica Alba, Blake Lively and Oprah, according to a list of celebs leaked to the Tennessean newspaper, containing nearly 200 names of "Confirmed and Passed Surrogates."
Michelle Obama has even helped recruit the A-list, hosting a dinner fundraiser bash on Thursday at Carter Beauford's, the drummer in Dave Matthews Band, home.
