According to the Herald Sun, there has been an overwhelming demand for tickets during a pre-sale period, meaning that the singer will now play at Rod Laver Arena on June 30 in addition to previously-confirmed shows on June 27 and June 28.
Australia will be one of the first countries to see Lady Gaga's "Born This Way Ball'"show.
According to the musician, her stage design will include a "Monster Pit" area where fans can win a chance to meet her after the show. She has also referred to the tour as an "electro-metal pop-opera".
It was originally reported that Lady Gaga would be taking her show around the world for 450 performances over the course of two years, but it has since been revealed that the tour will only span 110 dates.
Tickets for all three Melbourne shows are due to go on sale this Friday (February 17) at 9am.
